Bairt didn't choose floor sanding — he grew up in it. As a young teenager, he started working alongside his father Craig and older brother James in the family floor sanding business, learning the trade from the ground up under two master craftsmen.
While other kids were at the beach, Bairt was on site — watching how timber responds to different grits, learning when to push and when to let the machine do the work, understanding why preparation matters more than the final coat.
That hands-on apprenticeship shaped everything. Now running his own operation across Newcastle and Lake Macquarie, Bairt brings that same second-generation precision to every job. No shortcuts. No subcontractors. Just honest work from someone who's been doing this since before he could drive.
